Monday morning conversations with Rick typically involve some sort of explanation of a limp, scrape or bruise that resulted from over indulgent biking, skiing, running, swimming or maybe just racing his kids up the stairs. Rick’s mantra is Work hard, Play hard. And he does.
After graduating from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Business Management, Rick embarked on a career in the Resort and Hospitality business to support his skiing habit. Prior to coming to Montgomery Mortgage Inc. he enjoyed a long tenure with Timberline Lodge. In hospitality, service is the name of the game. Rick’s high energy, no excuses, whatever it takes attitude motivated his staff’s to consistently deliver the goods. 10, 12, 14 even 20 hour days were not uncommon. Whether it was coordinating a mountain rescue, figuring out a failed emergency electrical system or cleaning bathrooms Rick was there to get the job done.
When you are working with Rick you benefit from these same core values. Service is still the name of the game. Regardless of the situation, day of the week or time of day, if there is a deal to get done Rick is your man. One note of caution; Rick’s enthusiasm is contagious. If you find yourself “meeting” on the mountain, don’t say you weren’t warned.
